We can offer:

BUSHNELL, CHARLES. CRUMBS FOR ANTIQUARIANS, [2 VOLUMES.]
N.Y.: Privately printed, 1864-1866. 8vos, original linen-backed blue boards,
corners bumped with some erosion, spines somewhat darkened, labels rubbed,
some spine wear. Ex library with shelf numbers, bookplates and libr.
numbers on the dedication pages. (Consists of 10 tracts - one by
Bushnell, on early
N.Y.C. tokens - the other 9 all being Revolutionary War memoirs, each with
its own title page. Uncut, and with 26 plates. As Sabin notes, Bushnell's
"Notes" to each tract are extensive. The Memoirs are by Saml. Smith, a
soldier of the Revolution; Solomon Nash, a soldier of the Revolution; Tarleton
Brown, a Captain in the Revolutionary Army; Levi Hanford, a soldier of the
Revolution; Major Return J, Meigs' Journal of the Expedition Against Quebec;
Major Abraham Leggett of the Army of the Revolution; the Exertions &
Sufferings of Lieut, James Moody . . . Since the Year 1776; John Blatchford,
His Sufferings in the Revolutionary War while a Prisoner of the British; &
Ebenezer Fletcher, a Soldier of the Revolution. 135 years ago, Sabin (9538)
said, "About 100 copies were printed, and complete sets have become
scarce." What he meant was that about 100 copies of each tract were
printed; some of these were distributed, and it is assumed that the reminder
were bound up as we see here. A note reported by OCLC suggests that 50
sets were so bound . The illustrations were by the famous Alexander Anderson
who was then in his 88th year. New USiana B1035. A real rarity!) $950.00
