Handy pocket reprint edition of this extraordinarily popular humanistic

Latin poetry. Verses from Horace, Ovid, Catullus, Marial, Claudian, Boethius,
Lucretius, Ausonius, and a few others are here selected, organized, and presented.
In the humanistic fashion, it was created with a pedagogical purpose: the
volume includes a remarkable 116-page analytical index of subjects prepared to
lighten the burden of students in studying the great poetry of pagan Rome.
