WILLIAMS, Tennessee. A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. New York: New
Directions (1947). First Edition. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for
Drama. Spine of book a bit sunned but the lavender boards have strong
color and only minimal rubbing at the edges. Two closed tears, the
longest one inch, on the front panel of the dustwrapper which has the
typical sunning to the spine for this title. Still the lettering,
including the author's name, is very readable. Quite an attractive
copy of an increasingly difficult book. $1500.00
