ROOSEVELT,  Eleanor.  TYPED  LETTER   SIGNED.  11  Feb.   1955. A
three-paragraph  full-page  letter  on   Mrs.  Franklin  D.  Roosevelt
stationery  to  Maxeda  von  Hesse,  who  gave  Mrs.  Roosevelt  vocal
lessons.  Inquires about von Hesse's trip to Florida and mentions  her
own   upcoming  trip.  Concludes:   "Don't  you  find   'Automation' a
challenging  subject?  It  is  good to know  that  interest  is  being
aroused,  as  the  public should know what the  picture  looks  like."
SIGNED  "Affectionately,/Eleanor  Roosevelt." Along with the  envelope
bearing  the  free-frank printed signature of Anna Eleanor  Roosevelt.
