We are pleased to offer an 1836 book on Indian Wars and an 1841 history of
New England. This auction has no reserve, because I take most of my
instructions by listening to Bruce Springsteen records backwards, and his
new tribute album to Pete Seeger doesn't mention reserves.

HISTORY OF THE DISCOVERY OF AMERICA...AND OF THE MOST REMARKABLE
ENGAGEMENTS WITH THE INDIANS IN NEW ENGLAND... (and on and on and on) By
Henry Trumbull. Published by George Clark in Boston, 1836. A better (and
far shorter) title for this book would be "How the Nasty, Depraved and
Savage Indians Massacred Innocent Europeans in America Until They Were
Wiped Out". Let's just say that Mr. Trumbull didn't hold the Indians in
high regard. Includes some petty dramatic woodcuts...
plus other books on literature, history, and much more, all offered without
reserves.
