ROOSEVELT, Theodore (Teddy Roosevelt). PARTLY PRINTED DOCUMENT
SIGNED (DS) APPOINTING WILLIAM B. HOMER A MAJOR IN THE ARTILLERY
CORPS. Washington: 18 Dec. 1902. A folio (15-3/4" x 19-3/4") official
SIGNED Presidential document on vellum appointing William B. Homer to
the position of Major in the Artillery Corps. SIGNED by Theodore
Roosevelt as President and by Elihu Root as Secretary of War. With a
blue stamp of the War Office affixed in the lower left corner and a
red ink stamp in the upper left corner recording the document and
signed by the Acting Adjutant General. With engravings of an eagle at
the top and military apparatus with flags at the bottom. Signatures
of two Nobel Peace Prize winners on the same document. Minor and
typical wrinkling. Fine and quite attractive. $2000.00
