De Societe Des Editions De Louis-Michaud Paris 1914 Lettered S of an
edition not referenced on the Justification Du Tirage. SIGNED. The authors
have inscribed and signed the book on the half-title page. There is a
stamp in the name of a well known fashion designer on the front end paper
in the upper corner.. There are 22 full page plates in the pochoir process
by Z de Borelli Vranska, M de Borelli Vranska, and G de Columes. Five of
the twenty-two plates are vignettes masks, fans, flowers, chairs,
shoes-gloves. The remaining are typical theme scenes, including one
each at the beach, a golf pose, and of a dance duo. The others are mostly
of fashion and the boudoir..
This book has the original soft art paper French jacket over paper covers
and is in its original glassine protector. The edges are untrimmed. There
is a one inch break in the continuity of the cover and jacket at the top of
the front spine.edge leaving a narrow loss of paper cover.. There are two
closed tears in the glassine overwrap, plus a small chip. The plates are
clean and without wear. One vignette has a light smear of the applied
color. Faint hint of a pencil price erasure. $970.00
