1)      CORTOT (ALFRED)    (1877- 1962).   French pianist.  Signed program.

Berkeley Musical Association, thirteenth season. fourth concert, 
Thursday evening, March 29, 1923.  In the Harmon Gymnasium, 
University of California campus, Berkeley. The association was 
organized in 1910 by the American baritone William Edwin Chamberlain 
and lasted through at least 1934, sponsoring five concerts a 
year.   Chopin; Schumann; Debussy; Saint-Saens; Albeniz; Liszt 
compositions.    Signed by Alfred Cortot.  Single sheet folded to 
form 4pp, 19cm.    Fine condition.    $250.00  pp.



2)      DUX (CLAIRE) = b. Witkowicz.    (1880-1967)  Polish 
soprano.  (with)   Bruno Seidler Winkler,  pianist.   Signed program.
Berkeley Musical Association, fifteenth season, second concert, 
Tuesday evening, November 4, 1924.   In the Harmon Gymnasium, 
University of California campus, Berkeley. The association was 
organized in 1910 by the American baritone William Edwin Chamberlain 
and lasted through at least 1934, sponsoring five concerts a 
year.   Mozart, Gordigiani, Schumann, Reger, Strauss, Bizet, 
Leoncavallo, Massenet, Hageman, Carpenter and an arrangement of a 
Mexican Folk Song by Frank La Forge.  Single sheet folded to form 
4pp, 19cm.    Fine condition.  Signed on page (1) by Claire Dux and 
Bruno Seidler Winkler.  $225.00 pp
