Edition.  Scarce  first  book,  a classic of  fantasy  and  children's
literature,  published  in  an edition of only 2500  copies  and  very
difficult  to  obtain, especially in collector's condition. This  is a
very  attractive  copy with a small abrasion to the fore-edge  of  the
bulked  text in a very nice dustwrapper with a tiny, hardly noticeable
chip  to  the  lower front corner and a 1/8" tear at the base  of  the
spine  near  the  front  joint. Near Fine in  Near  Fine  dustwrapper.
