illustrated boards with gilt lettering, backed in suede with ornate 
printing. Spine worn and cracked (as usual); edges rubbed. Illustrated 
endpapers with light foxing. The first American edition illustrated by 
Rackham. Spine open at gutter at half-title. Forty gorgeous tipped-in 
color-illustrated plates with captioned tissue guards and numerous b&w 
text illustrations illustrate the 60 Grimm fairy tales. A handsomely 
illustrated book. $850
