Double column text. Illustrated with 19 woodcuts (1” x 2”). Title page & text 
printed in Greek & Latin. Text printed in red & black throughout. BOUND WITH: 
VESPERAE FERIALES TOTIUS... Paris: Hieronymous de Marnef & Viduam Gulielmi 
Cavellat. N.d. (circa 1595). 16mo. 94,(2)pp. Latin text printed in red & black. 
Bound together in cont. full calf, covers and spine ornately gilt tooled with 
flowers, acorns, griffins, stars, etc., all within parallel lines. Spine rebacked 
with the old tooled spine laid down. Title a bit soiled & a neat repair to 
the very top blank margin (probably due to the removal of the name of a previous 
owner). This copy with 5 added early religious engravings to the endleaves.

A very rare edition of this liturgical text. No copy turns up in OCLC, 
N.U.C., BL French STC, etc., although one copy is recorded with a 1594 title date in 
OCLC. There is no record anywhere of the second liturgical text, the evening 
hymns for holidays.
