Cologne: Johannes Prael. 1532. 8vo. (16),766pp. Woodcut of the editor, Rabanus 
Maurus, seated at his desk, on title. Large woodcut printer’s device on final 
verso. Title page a bit soiled, with the blank fore-edge with a small loss. Final 
leaf with another small loss at top outer margin where the page number should 
be printed. Some blank marginal worming (minor) at the end, some other worming 
in the first 200 pages does touch some text. Early calf with gilt arms on 
both covers, rubbed, neatly rebacked.     $850.00 (trade discount allowed)

Rabanus Maurus, or Hrabanus Magnentius. VD 16 #B2988. Not in BL German STC or 
Adams, and no auction record (in ABPC) in 30 years.
