Monroe Wheeler New York [1923] First Edition Bound in stiff string-tied wraps,
printed in blue. Wallace A8. One of only 150 copies printed. Though not called
for, this copy is SIGNED in red ink on the front endpaper in a neat but late
hand by Williams. With the exception of "The Hermaphroditic Telephones," all the
poems in this volume had appeared in SPRING AND ALL published in Paris in 1923.
However, this chapbook marks the first publication in America of these poems
including Williams's most famous poem, "The Red Wheelbarrow." Minor fading. Near
Fine and scarce when signed. $3000
