Mar./ Apr. 1971 issue. A fine copy in a near fine clear acetate dust

Illus. with over 66 b/w reproductions of photos. Sq. Sm. 4to. Stiff 
paper wrappers.  First edition. Catalog of an exhibition entitled 
"Walker Evans: Subway Photographs and Other Recent Acquisitions" held 
at the National Gallery of Art, Nov. 24, 1991-Mar. 1, 1992. These 66 
Walker Evans photographs included Evans' Subway series, his earliest 
portraits of Berenice Abbott, his architectural studies, and examples 
of his work between 1945 and 1965 for Fortune magazine. Hard to find.
