 Latin. Title and each leaf of text within a type border. Complete with the 
added Arabic title and the final leaf of colophon (often lacking). Modern full 
brown morocco, gilt spine, with 5 raised bands. An attractive copy.

First edition (reprinted in 1619) of the Psalter in Arabic & Latin and a 
typographically beautiful book. The Arabic type had been cut for Francis Savary de 
Breves who was the French Ambassador at Constantinople and afterwards in 
Rome. See Darlow & Moule #1641 and #1644.
