AND TRADES, TO WHICH IS ADDED A COMPLETE BUSINESS, STREET AND CONGRESSIONAL 
DIRECTORY.
Washington, D.C.: William H. Boyd, 1896. Full cloth, Octavo, 1108 pages, 
Black & white cuts. Fair.
      The directory includes interesting advertisements, a complete index of 
advertisers, detailed directory of the federal government beginning with 
Grover Cleveland at the Executive Mansion, directories of churches, colleges 
and universities, corporations with top executives listed, and much more in 
addition to the complete directories of businesses and residents of the city 
of Washington. Gives street address and occupation for the residents listed. 
Bound in brown cloth over boards with gilt stamped spine, grey endpapers. 
Moderate external wear, including a 1" tear at head of spine, minor 
extremity fraying, and some rubs along joints. Inside, the hinges have been 
repaired with library tape and there are a couple of advertising pages at 
the front that are loose or nearly so. These pages are printed on a 
different quality of paper that is browned and somewhat brittle. The rest of 
the directory and the advertising that is in the middle remains in good 
condition.    $250.00
