New  York:  Limited Editions Club 1942. Octavo (6" x 9-1/2") bound  in
full   butternut  cloth  with  paper   spine  label.  Edited  with  an
introduction  by  Bernard  De Voto who restores  the  chapter  Clemens
ripped   out  of  the  manuscript  and   inserted  into  LIFE  ON  THE
MISSISSIPPI.  Designed by C. P. Rollins and illustrated with line  and
wash  drawings by Thomas Hart Benton. Copy #354 of 1500 SIGNED by  the
artist  on the colophon page. Spine of the book is darkened, as  often
the  case  with this title, but not nearly as much as  usually  found.
Near Fine in Very Good slipcase with neatly repaired splits.   $500.00
