COLERIDGE, Samuel Taylor. THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER. Bristol:
Douglas  Cleverdon  1929.  Large quarto (9-3/4" x  12-1/4")  bound  in
original  white  buckram  and  green paper-covered  boards  with  gilt
lettering  on the spine. Copy #111 of a total of 460 illustrated  with
10  copper-engraved  plates (8 full page) printed in a green  wash  by
David  Jones.  A  magnificent  illustrated  book,  the  engravings  as
haunting   as  Coleridge's  poem  and   a  perfect  compliment.  Minor
darkening  to  spine. Usual light offsetting to the  endpapers  with a
small  ink  presentation on the front endpaper: "HS. from P.P."  About
Fine and scarce thus for this major illustrated work.         $1000.00
