A later edition of Hallmann’s (d. 1704?) play written for the festive 
occasion of the wedding of Emperor Leopold and Claudia Felicitas. It is noticeable 
for the fine series of pastoral engravings by Thelot. They had had first 
appeared in 1717 under the title, “Sinnreiche Liebe.” The 1750 edition is their 
second appearance. See Faber du Faur, GERMAN BAROQUE LITERATURE #652. OCLC records 
3 copies, but only 1 in America.
