Watts,    Inc.  1952.  First  Edition.   Illustrated  in   color   and
black-and-white  by  Ursula Koering. A young boy learns in  songs  and
legends  the  rich and varied cultures of his ancestors in Africa  and
of  their  life in America in this children's book by  Hughes.  SIGNED
"For  Polly/Sincerely/Langston"  by  the  author on  the  title  page.
Dustwrapper  spine  mostly  present but in several  pieces  and  split
along  the  rear  fold but still attractive  under  mylar.  Especially
uncommon to find signed. Near Fine in a Good dustwrapper.      $750.00
