by Jackie Robinson, certainly one of the most influential men ever to
swing a bat, about their experiences in baseball. This copy is
INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper: "To Mary
Elizabeth with/best wishes. It really has/been a pleasure working
with/you and to know of your/concern for Gov. Rockefeller./I hope you
enjoy Basbeall has Done It'/Jackie Robinson." Unusually long
inscription for this baseball great. Small ink circle on inside front
