[FRASCONI, Antonio] NERUDA, Pablo. BESTIARY / BESTIARIO. New York:
Harcourt,  Brace & World (1965). First Edition. Quarto (8" x  11-1/2")
bound  in  orange  cloth-backed decorated boards and  printed  at  the
Sprial  Press. Illustrated with an orignal SIGNED frontispiece woodcut
by  Frasconi  and numerous woodcuts printed in orange and  black.  The
Neruda  poem  appears  in  the original Spanish  accompanied  with  an
English  translation  by  Elsa Neuberger. Copy #206 of 300  SIGNED  by
Frasconi  and the printer, Joseph Blumenthal. Very small and  tasteful
bookplate  of  EHH on the front pastedown in the upper corner.  A  few
small  rough  erasures to front endpaper; mild sunning to spine.  Fine
in slipcase with closed split to top edge.                     $650.00
