Octavo, x, 274 pages, black & white photographic plates. Fine.
Wright gives his knowledge of the grizzly bear, collected over some 25
years of constant observation. Wright was greatly impressed as a young boy
by Hittell's book on James Capen Adams, and devotes a chapter herein to
"Grizzly" Adams. Illustrated with numerous photographs by the author and J.
B. Kerfoot. HAND #W541. Bound in dark green cloth over boards with gilt
lettered spine and upper board, gilt embossed vignette of a grizzly bear on
upper board. Shallow bumps to lower fore corners, some faint dark spotting
along fore edges of boards, and a few bits of minor foxing inside. A crisp
copy overall. $100.00
