viii,20pp. Plus 60 copper engraved plates (some accompanied with letter press
text). 20th century mottled calf, gilt, brown morocco spine label, over
earlier marbled boards (lightly soiled). Plates lightly soiled and with occasional
ink spots and architects’ notations (mostly on versos). $2,750.00 (trade
discount allowed)
This work went through a number of English reprints. The first of 1745 has
become quite scarce; It also became the first architectural work to be printed
in America, in 1775.
