Lima,  Peru: 1938. Presented to David Iglehart by Rafael Larcoh,  this
folio  (11-1/2" x 14-1/2") album consists of a calligraphed dedication
page,  a  handsomely hand-illustrated title page, and 17 accurate  and
magnificently  vibrant ORIGINAL PAINTINGS of primitive ceramics  which
appear  to our untrained eyes to be watercolors to which a varnish  of
some  sort  has  been  applied. Each painting has  a  tissue  guard. A
unique  and  beautiful  album  of ORIGINAL ART,  certainly  of  strong
interest  to  a  collector of Pre-Columbian pottery.  The  nondescript
cloth binding is worn, but contents are Fine.                 $1750.00
