(1981). First Edition. One of 100 numbered copies (of a total edition
of 150) SIGNED by both the author and the subject. Fine $150.00
3. STYRON, William. LIE DOWN IN DARKNESS. Indianapolis: Bobbs Merrill
(1951). First Edition. Author's first book. This copy has a paper
label on the book's spine marked "Editorial Library" and is in a
proof dustwrapper which has only the front and spine printed, the
rest being blank with occasional register marks. Additionally, laid
in at the rear, and at one time pasted to the rear endpaper and
pastedown, is a quite fresh copy of the dustwrapper as it finally
appeared. Hinge cracked at title page. Good only but likely unique.
