RARE SCOTTISH BROADSIDE

AND DUKE OF BRUNSWICK-LUNENBURG, CAPTAIN-GENERAL OF ALL HIS MAJESTY’S 
LAND-FORCES IN THE KINGDOM OF GREAT-BRITAIN, &c... No place (Inverness?): No pub. 1746. 
Broadside (16-1/4” x 12-7/8”). Some minor creasing at folds and some 
soiling, otherwise nice.     $600.00 (trade discount allowed)
An order for the apprehension of those rebels who escaped capture at the 
battle of Culloden and who are still in possession of their arms, and anyone 
harboring these men, dated 1 May 1746. Issued under the printed signature of 
Everard Fawkener (1684-1758), secretary to the Duke of Cumberland. The ESTC records 
only 1 copy in North America.
