Mosher, B., Thomas, Editor, The Bibelot: A Reprint of Poetry and Prose for 
Book Lovers, chosen in part from scarce editions and sources not generally 
known, Thomas B. Mosher, Press, Portland, Maine, 1895: The Bibelot was a 
yearly literary anthology published by Thomas Mosher between 1895 and 1914. 
These first  8 editions contain selections such as:  Selections from a 
suppressed book by Rudyard Kipling, Letters of Marque; Hollow Land, William 
Morris; Hand and Soul, Rossetti; A Lodging for the Night, Story by Francis 
Villon; Saint Agnes of Intercession, Rossetti; Gertha's Lovers, Wm. Morris; 
Demeter and Persephone, translations Walter Pater; Leonardo Da Vinci, Pater; 
Lyrics by Cosmo Monkhouse; Field-Play, Richard Jeffries; Clifton and A Lad's 
Love, John A. Symonds; Dead Love and other Inedited Pieces, Swinburne;  A 
Dream, William Morris; Story of Unknown Church: Lindenborg Pool, Wm.. 
Morris; An Essay on Percy Bysshe Shelley, Robert Browning; Sonnets of the 
Wingless hours,Eugene Lee-Hamilton. First page in red and black print. Pale 
light blue paper boards over, quarter tan spine, four bands with red and 
black type title panel, date and volume. Spines and board edges toned, 
volume I had two line blotches across front board, volume III, 1/2 inch 
abrasion to lower front board. Boards mild soil, light rubbing to 
extremities, spines rubbed. Vol. VII small chip to heal of spine, few edge 
and or corner bumps. Green, blue, or yellow floral e.p.'s. All very tightly 
bound, with clean text, no inscriptions, TEG.  16 mo. approximately 300 to 
400 pages each. Volumes end with statement: Here ends The Bibelot Volume #. 
Printed by Smith & Sale for Thomas B. Mosher and published by him at XLV 
Exchange Street Portland Maine. Roman numeral of issue. First Editions from 
1889 - 1902. Very Good. $40.00.
