nunc primum edita. Title within elaborate engraved border. 1 blank 
leave + 5 unnnumbered leaves, 108 pp + 1 blank leave. Small 4to, full 
vellum (some browning due to the quality of the paper, short cutted 
at top). First edition of this very rare collection of the surgical 
writings of Thomas Feyens (1567-1631).
The book is divided into twelve sections, including two on eye 
operations, one on tracheotomy, one on lithotomy, and another on 
hernia. The final section is a treatise on rhinoplastic operations in 
nine chapters. Feyens had studied at the University of Bologna in 
1590-93 where he witnessed Tagliacozzi's operations. Very good copy.
