      This detailed history was gathered from extensive research and 
numerous interviews with pilots. Lots of information on the Delaware Bay and 
River Pilots Association, lists of pilots in Cape May, Philadelphia, etc., 
names of the boats to which they were attached, personal reminiscences, and 
much more. This copy is #537 of 3,000, INSCRIBED and SIGNED by Marvil on 
copyright page. Bound in dark blue cloth over boards with some browning and 
mild soil to edges of textblock, a few minor extremity rubs, and some rubs 
to bottom edge of upper board. Jacket shows minor edge wear and mild soil.
