Black cloth, soiled and worn, with chips from top and base of spine. 8vo. 172 pages. 29 plates (2 folding), out of order as issued. 5 folding maps. Chipping to edges of rear flyleaves. Several internal blind stamps, but no other ownership marks. Hinges starting. Internally clean. Expedition was undertaken “for the purpose of obtaining all information which will be valuable and important, especially to the military branch of the government.” An ethnographic and geographic survey. $250.00 postpaid.
