Publisher's advertisement, p. [4] of wrapper, includes: Roses,
Butterflies, Autumn Leaves, Birds, Beautiful cuts for all seasons of
the year. Prang's album pictures For Sale In All Bookstores(.) Books
for Children(,) Valentines Etc. Published by L. Prang and Co. Boston.
This is quite different from the ad on the red labeled version. It is
possible that the emphasis on "Autumn Leaves" in this ad, shows this
to be a printing prior to that for Christmas use. See McClinton/
Prang p.49. Original glazed wrappers, showing very light foxing like
color in the margins of the title page. Ow about Fine. $550.00
