Bindings somewhat rubbed and with some scattered stains and small defects; a
Very Good set. This copy with a typed letter signed [TLS] by Nansen to Ralph
Lomen, of the Lomen Reindeer Corporation, dated 24 May 1929. In it, Nansen
thanks Lomen for some photographs he had sent, and promises to be in touch
soon about a future expedition for which Lomen may provide some fur
equipment. Also references a lunch Nansen had in NY with Ralph's brother
