ornaments. Top of front hinge with a split, but the binding is perfectly sound.

First published in 1567 in only “two books,” the 1580 edition is the first
to contain the enlarged text of four books. Genebrard (1537-1597) became
professor of Hebrew at the Sorbonne. The final part of this sacred chronology of
world history is the author’s translation from the Hebrew of “Seder ‘Olam.” See
