Scribner's  Sons 1953. First Edition. Red cloth with silver  lettering
and  decorations.  The  special  Presentation  Edition  of  the  First
Edition  of  Lindbergh's  SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS issued  in  an  unstated
limitation  of  1000 copies. This is Copy #112 SIGNED in full  by  the
author  and  is  one of the lowest numbers in the limitation  that  we
have  come across. Original glassine with very small chip at the  head
of  the spine and a long closed tear at the rear. The limitation  leaf
has  the small penciled name of Armitage Watkins with the notation "10
viii  53/gift  of  publisher." Fine in Very  Good  original  glassine.
