Octavo, brown pebble grain buckram, gilt lettering (quite bright).  [20] 7-726 pages.  Illustrated, includes a 67 page appendix of Muster Roll of Illinois volunteers in the 1831-1832 war.  Slight discoloration to top front corner and bevelled edge, top edge slightly soiled, almost no foxing.  A Good+ tight copy of a very detailed study.  Quite scarce and no recent auction records.
