Brunet-Debaines, L[ouis] Fortune. "PROJET DE RESTAURATION ET DE REUNION
DES TUILERIES AU LOUVRE, COMPRENANT LA BIBLIOTHEQUE ROYALE, LES GALERIES
d'EXPOSITION POUR LES PRODUITS DES ARTS ET DE l'INDUSTRIE, LE
PALAIS-ROYALE, l'OPERA ET LE CHATEAU-d'EAU"

[Paris, ca. 1835].

It was Napoleon's dream to unite the palaces of the Tuileries and the
Louvre, and this plan for doing so was exhibited at the Paris Salon, along
with a rival scheme by Auguste Bertini. Our copy is defective, lacking one
of the two lithographed plates, but in any condition this is a scarce
book- OCLC locates only two copies. Architect Charles-Louis-Fortune
Brunet-Debaines was the father of artist Alfred-Louis Brunet-Debaines.

Hardcover. 10.5"x15", 8 pages + 1 (of 2) lithographed plates; bound in new
cloth with a leather label; covers lightly scuffed, pages with a little
soil. Lacking one plate, and priced accordingly. [30313] $500.00
