listing of all herbs, animal. and mineral items used in cures. A
great many of these are indigenous American plants and animals, as
noted, derived from Native Americans practices. Thus a Materia Medica
including a medical botany of the USA. Volume II is arranged by
diseases and conditions, with their cures. It has own title page, but
pagination is continuous. It is followed by a copious index.
