Gustave Havard Paris 1854.  First Edition in book form.  Half black 
morocco with gilt decoration and plain boards.  Illustrated with a 
wood-engraved vignette on the title page and 70 fine anthropomorphic 
hand-colored plates engraved on wood by Mouard, Porret, Hildibrand and 
others after Grandville.  Moderate foxing to the text, but the plates, 
lacking the tissue guards, are generally clean with the coloring bright.
