FS: Weekend special, AMERICANA

Very special price, good through the weekend before I do a full description
(not just lazy – this is a large set for my small space!) $550 plus media

Winsor, Justin. Narrative and Critical History of America

8 volumes bound as 16.

Boston & NY: Houghton, Mifflin and Co. (Riverside Press, Cambridge) 1889.

Dark green cloth covers with bright gilt titles, top edges gilt, dark green
endpapers. Small 4to, about 11 x 7.5 inches. B&W illustrations, maps, and
facsimiles throughout.

CONDITION: about near fine: Several hinges barely starting, a few have
“rough cut” fore edges (?), one with some white chalky marks on rear panel,
very minimal wear to a few at foot of spine, one with a tiny (about 1/8
inch) closed tear at spine foot. All else is clean, bright, tight.

VERY nice looking on the shelf!
