printed in red and black; cloth tape spine, with author & title in pen. Rear
cover with advertisements for other Ditson publications. Some general light
old staining and soiling, one small chip missing from rear cover, else a
Very Good copy. With a presentation inscription from Lindsay on the front
cover in the top margin, signed "with the respect and good wishes of
Nicholas Vachel Lindsay- September 16, 1918- Springfield, Illinois". // An
unusual Lindsay item, a musical interpretation of what was then (and would
remain) his most well-known work, "The Congo: A Study of the Negro Race".
