Fenner. 1754-1757. First edition. Tall folio (16-1/4” x 11”).  Unpaginated. 
Triple column text printed in Hebrew & English. Complete  with the list of 
subscribers in both volumes. Engraved frontispiece  portrait. Titles printed 
in red & 
black. Cont. full red stained calf,  lightly rubbed, gilt decorated spine 
compartments and black calf spine  labels. Front hinge of Vol. II, rubbed but 
quite 
sound. Front cover of Vol.  I with an old scuff and a portion of an old 
newspaper adhering (3” x 4”).  Both vols. with an ownership inscription of 
Joseph 
Lamb dated 1791.   $1,500.00
This concordance has 2,604 main entries and a large  index that 
cross-references them. It is the author’s greatest work of  scholarship and “
the first 
serious attempt to fix the primitive meaning of  Hebrew roots...” (DNB).
