"THE EDWARD T. CHOW COLLECTION. Part One- Ming and Qing Porcelain; Part
Two- Early Chinese Ceramics and Ancient Bronzes; Part Three- Ming and Qing
Porcelain and works of art"

Hong Kong; Sotheby Parke Bernet: November 25th & December 16th, 1980 & May
19th, 1981.

The auction of Edward Chow’s collection, in three blockbuster sales, was
more than simply the dispersal of some antique pottery. Chow was among the
foremost connoisseurs of antique Chinese ceramics of his day, and was a
compatriot of such renowned collectors as Percival David, and King Gustav
Adolf of Sweden. His deep knowledge and impeccably high standards are seen
in the parade of rare and wonderful ceramics and other objects showcased
in these three elegant catalogs. The first volume includes an introduction
by Michael Beurdeley.

Hardcover. 3 volumes, 7.5"x10.5", 482 pages, 625 lots, hundreds of color
and b/w illustrations, dj's. Light soil, former owner’s stamp on
endpapers; Volume One has prices realised noted in pen. [30704] $175.00
