Books may be returned within 7 days of receipt with PRIOR NOTIFICATION to Buckingham Books. Books are mailed upon receipt of payment. U.S. shipping charges are $8.50 for the first book and $2.00 per each additional book. It is our preference to ship via U.P.S., but we can accommodate U.S. Postal shipments via First Class or Priority Mail. Sonnichsen, Cornelia Chambers, etc., who provide stories about the Brazos River, cattlemen, Gail Borden, brands, Comanche Indians, Sam Bass, forts, horses, ranches, folk-lore, and much more. Six Guns 602 says, "Has some information on Clay Allison and other gunmen." Fine, unread copy in fine, first and second state dust jackets. 7. DOBIE, J. FRANK. A TEXAN IN ENGLAND. Boston: Little, Brown & Co., 1945. First edition. 8vo. Signed by the author. Cloth, xiii [3], 285 pp., preface, acknowledgments, index. During World War II, Dobie was invited to come to England as a guest professor of American History at Cambridge University. He reluctantly accepted the invitation. This book is comprised of Dobie's observations during his stay in England. An interesting book. Fine, bright, tight copy in fine dust jacket. $300.00  (21121)
