Unpaginated. Double column text. Title-page mounted, with loss at bottom of most of 
the imprint (place, publisher & date from the colophon). Woodcut printer’s 
device on title-page. Old boards, worn, crudely rebacked with a later brown calf 
spine strip and tips. A1 blank lacking.     $1,500.00
This work became a standard Elizabethan reference, most likely used by 
Shakespeare and his contemporaries. STC 5689, with the genuine title-page reading “
Romanae & Britannicae.”
