With 30 hand colored plates by Robrero, not included in pagination. 
Unloc. in OCLC, but there was a second edition in 1870, also 
unlocated. There is one location of this issue in the Spanish 
national library system. This is a translation from the French 
original. Full tree calf, gilt title label, marbled EPs, Slight 
damage at crown of spine, rubbed and scratched, but VG. $500.00

EL CASCABEL, PERIODICO PARA REIR [Magaizine for Laughter]  later 
Periodico Festivo, Literario Y Politico and Finally Periodico 
Festivo.~ Madrid, 1863-66.  No. 1, Vol I October of 1863 through -No. 
366 Vol. V. 29 December, 1867.   Filled with jokes, comic tales, 
rebuses, charades, logogriphs, and occasional cartoon and later on, 
political caricatures. Lacking Nos. 206-207, 209-210, 326, 334, 341, 
354.  The common microfiche seems to start in 1864 and end in 
1864.  Thus this set is much more complete.  All published?  Bound in 
two stout volumes, marbled boards, calf spine which do not match, but 
came from the same Spanish collection [with bookplate].  RLIn 
locates  two runs at LC and MN. Some rubbing to binding but VG. $1500.00

MATOSES, M. with J. L. PELLICER, editors. EL MUNDO COMICO. Semanario 
Humoristico ilustrado, ... Vol.  No.l - 166. Madrid, 1873-76, II 
Volumes, Folio. Each issue has eight pages. Although this copy is 
lacking issues No. 85, 88, 129 and 155, it possesses No. 156 through 
166. These ten issues are unknown to and not called for by Palau. 
Each TP has a nearly full page Litho. in period hand coloring. They 
are extraordinarily spirited and vivacious, usually drawn with pen by 
Pellicer himself, between Goya and Manet in style, and very high in 
quality. RLin, Vol. I only, at Getty. Unnoted at OCLC, Not at KVK. 
Bound into recent stout cloth, Spanish tooled 1/4 leather, raised 
bands, gilt titles, Fine.  $ 4250.00
