the required engraved portrait and titles. First Edition, although 
written in the 17th century. The imprint is false; probably printed

apparently, only his translation of Anacreon into Italian was 
published. He was known as a great wit, much savored when more 
Italian was known outside Italy. Now very scarce. Orig. calf,
