within a fine woodcut border. With the final blank and the penultimate leaf blank 
except for the large woodcut printer’s device. Cont. vellum, somewhat soiled. 
Some light text soiling and a small repair to the bottom of the title page.

This is part one only, of two parts (the second part printed in 1553), of the 
first Italian translation of Giovio’s “Historiarum Sui Temporis.” It is 
quite uncommon. Not in the BL Italian STC or Adams.
