First  Edition.  Review  Copy, with slip laid in, of  Lessing's  first
book.  The bright yellow cloth has a little soiling to the spine and a
very  slightly bumped corner. The dustwrapper has a small hole on  the
back  edge  of  the spine, a small stain on the somewhat  soiled  rear
cover,  and a tiny closed tear on the bright front panel. Near Fine in

1949.  New  York:  Harper Collins (1994). First  Edition.  Illustrated
with  photographs. SIGNED by the author on the title page and dated 24
