Scarce first English translation of a much reprinted Latin text in the 16th &
17th centuries. It is a sarcastic attack on the existing sciences and the
pretensions of learned men. Agrippa (1486-1535) wrote this work in Latin about
1527. It was first published in Antwerp in 1531. Wing A790.
